Evan Davis + Harper Lunn Q&A

Posted by Claire Brandon on

What is your pet peeve?

The ukelele/xylophone jingles people use for their instructional videos or commercials. It makes us wanna crawl inside of ourselves.

What is a concept our culture thinks is new but really isn’t?

Gender fluidity. I.e. ancient Rome, early Native Americans, the Incans, etc. Those people groups and several others throughout history all have examples of non binary gender traditions.

Scale of 1-10, how much anxiety do you have about answering these questions?

Who is your dream wedding date?

We’re getting married sooo each other :)

Have you ever been a part of a photoshoot before?

Evan: No.

Harper: Yes.

If you were an animal, what would you be?

We would both be ducks. They can float, fly, and swim! Sounds like a great life.

What do you spend your money on?

We love to cook together so we like to source our ingredients as sustainably as possible. Wine is also important. Specifically, Harper buys clothes quite often and Evan buys motorcycle parts.

React to this quote: “I know what women look good in. I don’t think the rules ever change.” - Michael Kors

Well ain’t that the same old song. A man thinks he knows everything about women’s bodies.

What is something most people love that you don’t understand?

We both thought this at the exact same time... Beyoncé. Very controversial, we know. Her music just don’t do it for us.

Describe your worst hair cut.

Evan: I got a mullet from great clips once. I was trying to be cool and get a scene mullet. Going to great clips wasn’t a good idea for obvious reasons.

What is a sacrifice you’re happy you made?

We’ve sacrificed what once was a quaint, nice smelling backyard for our three dogs. We love the lil stinkers, but boy do they stink.

Do you have a favorite vintage garment?

Evan: My mom's sweatshirt from the 80’s that was hand painted by my dad.

Harper: A pale blue shirt that says Tennessee in rainbow letters from the 70’s.

What is something you romanticize doing, but probably never will?

We would love to move out of the states. Easier said than done, so I'm not sure if it’s something that could be possible for quite some time. Until then we’re just gonna eat as much Waffle House as possible 🤷🏻🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you, Evan and Harper
